New cards this week

Just a few cards I've been creating. I love making cards with what's left on my table from other projects. The Game one is for a swap called "Games People Play". You can do alot with that theme..I took the easy way out. lol When I stamp images I also stamp a page full and what I don't use I put in a basket. So these came in handy for the quick 10 mins cards. If you want to see my other art, check out my other blog. http://www.romancingtheartistwithin.blogspot.com Have a creative day. Thanks for dropping by.

more cards from leftovers

Over the years I've accumulated images from swaps on different groups, or saved bits of paper and other embellishments. When I rubber stamp I usually stamp a whole page but maybe only use 5 or 6 of the images and throw the remainder in my basket. So often I like to take all the leftovers and make cards. Here are somemore I've done this week.

March came in like a lamb

March cards have started off with a great start. I've done 12 so far. I'm working on using up images, cut cardstock and printed papers in my stash. We always collect so many bits and pieces and then when we start a new project we grab something new rather than use up the bits. I have a draw of images that I had stamped previously or received in image swaps, so I want to reduce them and use them up. I guess you can call it my 'green' program. I have alot of flowers and eyelets kicking around too...so why not use them up. Make room for the new stuff coming on the market. I love new stuff.

A shadow box for my nephew

Today was an enjoyable day. My nephew's birthday is coming up this month so I created this shadow box for him. He is crazy about hockey. He eats, sleeps hockey.

Another pear

<
Using up the some of the bits on my table for this card. Kraft cardstock and ribbon is from Stampin'Up, printed paper is unknown, and the stamp is Rubber Stampede.

Pear

My first card for March. I like to make monthly goals for projects I want to complete each month. I keep track of cards, ATCs, tags, inchies & twinchies, dolls, postcards, bookmarks, painted projects etc. I try very hard to reach my goals each month. I don't always do everything in each catagory, but do a variety of things each month. I love doing the blog challenges to.
This card is using SU cardstock and printed paper, brads etc. The pear is a very old stamp by Rubber Stampede. If you want to see my other blog

Enjoy the journey

Wings of Friendship continued

Another card from the Wings of Friendship stamp set from Stampin'Up. I actually made this card last night. Again, I love the colour Crushed Curry cardstock, and I used Old Olive with it. The card itself was embossed with a Cuttlebug folder to add interest.

Vintage Vogue

I love this set from Stampin'Up. It's part of their new Clear Mount stamp sets. I used Rich Razzleberry texture cardstock, SU printed paper in Kewi Kiss, Rich Razzleberry ribbon, Kewi Kiss and Rich Razzleberry inks. Kewi Kiss colour has been retired and it's too bad. I love that colour.

My today card

Here is a fun shaped card called an easel card. I saw videos and YouTube tutorials last year but never got around to doing one. So I did one today with the pieces of cs that was sitting on my desk left over from cards I made yesterday.
All cardstock, bird punch are from Stampin'Up. Used Spellbinder's nestibilities for the shapes and Martha Stewart border punch, plus an antique button to hold the card front up. I think I like those colours together.

Today was a good day for cards

Made these two cards today using Stampin'Up Chocolate Chip cardstock, ribbons, stamps, new bird punch, nestabilities oval and Cuttlebug Folder.
